GFP Hair Density service: Before and After

 Hey all!

I'm featuring a couple clients' experience with my Follicle Coaching consultation service (Trichology).

I'm thrilled for them with these results!

I'm happy that we are able to work on hair density treatments that are most appropriate to their type of hair loss. Within their budget and lifestyle. We got creative with treatments and I'm wishing these clients all the best for healthy skin and hair density.

Hair loss treatment is always a work in progress. Life changes - treatment has to change with it. I don't offer overly simplistic solutions. I work with the whole person.

These images and reviews are shared with permission of my clients. Do not save or copy them. These images are of the results with hair loss treatments, supplements as appropriate.

Client 1 says: I’ve been experiencing recurring hair loss for 10+ years and major hair breakage recently. GFP Hair Density and Scalp Management’s Wendy MS provided me with a comprehensive assessment review, analysis and treatment plan for my conditions.

Left: Start of treatment. Right: After 4 months of treatments.

Client 2 says: I've been treating hair loss for over 10 years, trying everything recommended by the dermatologist - which didn't agree with my skin. Now I have treatments I can actually be consistent with, and I can see some progress.

Left: Start of treatment. Right: After 4 months of treatments.

Pricing: I price my trichology service the same as an average haircut in my region. Swing over to the shop! If you're on the fence, send me an email (wendy1@goosefootprints.com).

Getting expert help to thoroughly assess your hair loss and plan treatment is just like getting an expert to cut or color your hair. Unlike going to the dermatologist, I can take the time to address as many facets of hair loss as possible and hear out your concerns about different treatments.

  1. Hey there, have you got any experience with growing a beard using minoxidil? A lot of dudes on r/minoxbeards swear by it, but I don't know if I should try it or what to expect

    1. Hello - improving beard density is an off-label use for topical minoxidil. Liquid or foam. On the scalp, it works for about half of users. That's got to do with enzymes in your skin that activate the medication, everybody is different. So it will work for some guys for beards, not as well for others.
If you give it a solid try (daily use, leaving on for 5+ hours) and don't see a result in 3 months, you might add a "booster" like a dandruff shampoo for your beard, or a caffeine-containing topical serum (or shampoo). Some people get a better result with micro needling (derma roller, dermastamp) and Minoxidil (or any other growth serum for that matter). Proceed with caution - tools should be sterilized, face should be washed first, and it's probably a "no" to micro needling if you have skin issues like acne or seborrheic dermatitis.
The results can be a visibly more-dense beard: Increased hair-coverage and fewer gaps. It's reasonable to expect, "Your beard, but better" if you respond well. If you decide to try it, commit to the full 3 months. Though you should stop if you have skin irritation or any other side effects. It can take a while to be clear about the result. Good luck!
